Anna L. Shelley

Anna is an associate at Catamount Law, where she practices family law and criminal defense. She is committed to providing clear, practical guidance through legally complex and often emotionally challenging situations.

Anna received her Juris Doctor from Vermont Law and Graduate School, graduating Magna Cum Laude in 2025. During law school, she worked as a student clinician on defensive asylum cases at the Center for Justice Reform and completed an externship with the Vermont Defender General’s Office, gaining hands-on experience in major felony cases at every stage of criminal proceedings. Before becoming an attorney, she spent nearly a decade working in private investigation, providing investigative and support services in criminal defense for both state and federal offices in Vermont. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Vermont.
